Current Series: FOUNDATIONSMany Christ followers know what they believe, but not necessarily why they believe it. They cannot use Scripture to defend what they believe so they are very easily swayed in a different directions. This series is aimed at recognizing the foundational principles we believe at The Crossing and why we believe them. We will also recognize that there are many interpretations of certain passages of Scripture that are not part of the foundations of what we believe and can be open to different interpretations. We believe that this series is very important for our community and for all Christ followers. Too many relationships have been broken over disagreements about non-foundational theological topics. It is the foundation we need to agree on and pursue. This series will help us better understand those foundations.

What We BelieveWe believe that there is one living, true, holy God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus was miraculously conceived, born of a virgin, and sinless in life. Christ was fully man and fully God, walked our earth, lived a life of obedience, suffered at the hands of men, and died on the cross. He fully atoned for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected and enthroned at God's right hand as our Intercessor.Salvation is wholly a work of God's free grace, received by repentance and faith. Each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and thereafter continuously grow in the knowledge of God.
Our purposeWe exist to connect people to Jesus Christ through the power of His cross and resurrection, through the power of community and through the unchanging truth of God's Word. These connections enable us to experience God's healing, wholeness, and will for our lives. Our heartbeatAt The Crossing, we are particularly focused on reaching people who do not profess any relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We desire to love the people Christ loves, and serve people how He served. Our strategyThe Crossing is a church family for all people, regardless of their age, the color of their skin, their economic situation or their social standing. We know that God loves all people and it is our desire to meet people where they are with the love of Christ.
